I have a C7000v2 and am with Spectrum. I am paying for 200MB and am only getting speeds of 90MB hard wired. Spectrum came out and tested speed out of the junction box, into my house and directly out of the cable right before it is connected to the Netgear router. All speeds are 1GB. But as soon as I connect to my modem, the speed goes to 90MB. They say my modem is not good. I got it on Sep 1, 2019.
The firmware on the router is up to date.
Please help.

Called Netgear and they sent me a replacement unit and now I'm getting the speeds I'm supposed to. The equipment I had was defective.

Re: C7000v2 slow internet on Spectrum, speed going into the modem is 1GB
how are you testing?
Wired/wireless?
Make sure you're testing wired.
Also check to make sure you're using a cat5e or above cable.
Have you tried a different device? It sounds like you're being defaulted to the 10/100 connection and not a gigabit connection.

Wired is 85 or so, Wireless is 50.
Cable is CAT5E
Spectrum connected their router directly to the cable and they got 300MBs. I called Spectrum and my router is configured for 200MB
