C7100v Rma replacement modem ds/us flashing
I recently received a rma replacement c7100v modem. When I go to replace my xfinity modem the ds/us light never stops flashing. If I swap back to the xfinity modem it works fine. Could the replacement modem be bad? I tried twice so far and the netgear c7100v never establishes connection to try and activate.

Re: C7100v Rma replacement modem ds/us flashing
have you contacted xfinity to have them manually provision it?
I believe the C7100v has the option to be able to provisioned without calling but some people have needed to do so to activate it.

Re: C7100v Rma replacement modem ds/us flashing
I have not tried that yet. I tried a quick swap while the kids were out so I wouldn't get complaints and gave up to keep them calm. I did read up on the xfinity support and here which stated I should at least connect and get to the activate page. I'll have more time to troubleshoot Thursday. I believe I was able to activate the original without having to get help from comcast. It looks like there are no support options here since the original purchase was 10 months ago. I don't know how they have rma replacement support.
