CAN THE CM1100 BE USED FOR QUANTUM FIBER OPTIC SERVICE
Hi everyone!
Switching from Cox cable to Quantum fiber optic and hoping to use the Nighthawk CM1100 I recently bought at Costco. I have done a fairly exhaustive search on line after being told by support at Quantum that they do not show that unit on their list of compatible modems. Does anyone know if I can use the CM1100?
Thank you in advance and hoping everyone is having a great weekend! Norman

Fiber ISPs use ONTs for there home to router interface. CM series modems are for Cable ISPs and copper coax lines.

so no, the CM1100 won't work with your service.
