CG3000v2 Port forwarding / Bridge Mode Issues
I have a optus supplied Netgear CG3000V2 Modem / Router.
I have managed to setup port forwarding successfully on this, however it appears that every time there is a power failure the unit forgets that port forwarding has been configured (even tho I can still see the settings) and I need to mess around using new, previously unused port numbers to get port forwarding to work again.
I decided to put the netgear into bridge mode and use another router for the port forwarding functionality but it appears that the pass thru from the netgear to the new router isnt happening. Whilst I get internet access (different IP to previous IP) I still cannot get port forwarding to work.
Anyone had these issue before ?
Regards
Sean
