CM1000-1AZNAS Slow speed under 1Gbps Xfinity
So I pay for gigabit service but only receive around 400 to 560 Mbps. This is with my modem directly connected to my PC. I used to have FiOS and got a consistent 980 Mbps on the same PC. I've had Xfinity techs run diagnostics(using xmt) on the line and modem and both say I'm receiving 1 Gbps speeds. I have no idea what can be the issue. I have a CM1000-1AZNAS.
I also updated my Ethernet adapter drivers and I am using CAT5e.

Re: CM1000-1AZNAS Slow speed under 1Gbps Xfinity
It could be several different things.
have you checked under the modem cable connection page to see if everything is connecting properly and that your power and SNR are within specs?
Is your cable within spec?
What website are you testing on? Speedtest.net often doesn't hit full 1gbps speeds. Try http://speedtest.xfinity.com/ and see if it hits full speed there.
