That's a shame, wish there was another way to update the firmware.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
You might contact NG support and have them help you with this. Ask them to contact Spectrum on your behalf and see if they can get the ISP to push it. ISP can only update FW on a modem unfortunately.
@ray102382 wrote:So how does one get this firmware? I called into Spectrum and they said they have no updates for personally owned devices.

I believe NG has been working on this for a while now. It's been known to both NG and ISPs.

Alright, guess I'll test this today then. My router updated at 12am yesterday. Will keep you all posted as well.

Happy to report that I've had Link Agg enabled for 5 straight days and no slow downs or other issues. Now just wish Intel could fix the AX200 drivers then all would be well in my network

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
FYI: Netgear is now reporting CM1200 V2.02.05 firmware as “deployed” for Comcast – but, not for Spectrum, Cox, or other ISPs (see here).

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
THank you for letting us know. Glad this is fixed now.
You'll have to post about any Intel problems over in there forums and let them know.
Enjoy.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
I can officially say that this problem looks to be solved. I've had a little more than 78hours of uptime in Link Aggregation between the CM1200 and the RAX200. No drops in speed, no slow downs, no service interuptions and actually the speeds definitely feel more consistent in both wired and wireless clients.
Please shout with any questions. Finally seems to be fully functioning. I'm happy it works, but still rather miffed/annoyed that it took a year for a primary, advertised feature to become fully functional.
Full Setup:
ISP/Service: Comcast/Gigabit Internet
Cable Modem: Netgear CM1200 Cable Modem

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
Any progress on this for you? New FW seems to resolve this.
@Pokemaniac wrote:If I hook up my CM1200 to my router (an Asus RT-AX88U) in Link Aggregation mode, it seems to be consistenly slow down to only around 66-ish% of the full connection speed after somewhere between 24 and 48 hours of uptime. The only thing which seems to fix this is rebooting the CM1200. Additionally, I've had it running for at least a week now with Link Aggregation disabled, and I'm not seeing any slowdown, so it would appear that Link Aggregation is related to the problem.
The firmware of the CM1200 shows up as V1.01.02, for reference.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
now if netgear would just push the firmware update to something we purchased it would be nice, or provide us with a discount for the purchase of a new unit.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
Netgear can't push this firmware down to your modem, that's your ISP's job.
And don't bother calling your ISP to complain about it, because those CSRs will tell you that flashing firmware is your job.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
Ask your ISP or escalated support from your ISP to see if they will push it to your modem. ISP control all FW updates for cable modems. NG doesn't push anything. NG gives ISPs FW to test and certify for use on there nework only. Some ISPs will push FW however some ISPs will not push FW to user owned modems.

I asked spectrum, but they said it's up to the network engineers.

Hopefully they will. This was a major problem for the 1200 modem and the fix needs to be pushed. Keep on them about it.

Continue to post in the CM1150v thread regarding this.
This thread is for the CM1200.
Hopefully the CM1150v will get something too.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
Are other community members seeing a CM1200 firmware upgrade to V3.02.01 with Comcast/Xfinity?
According to this thread, the new firmware enables upstream OFDMA channels – and, was installed on users’ CM1200 modems by Charter, only to be subsequently downgraded.

Re: CM1200 slows down after 24-48 hours of uptime when using link aggregation
My CM1200 (Xfinity gigabit service in the St. Paul, MN area) is on V2.02.05 and has been rebooted today due to a 10% to 20% packet loss. It has been on V2.02.05 since the rollout a few weeks ago with no problems until today.
