CM2050V – Admin Page Access

The CM2050V is not listed in the dropdown model list.

Just replaced a Comcast XB6-A with a Netgear CM2050V.  The old network had the XB6-A in bridge mode feeding a Netgear R7800.  I could access the admin page of the XB6-A from a computer connected to the R7800 via ethernet.  Now  I cannot access the admin page of the CM2050V.  The web browser connection times out.  The IP addresses are different, the XB6-A was at 10.0.0.0 and the CM2050V is at 192.168.100.1.

Maybe some configuration details I am missing?

My setup: Comcast -> Netgear CM2050V -> Netgear R7800 (Voxel V1.0.2.94.4SF)

Model: CM1150V|DOCSIS 3.1 Nighthawk® Multi-Gig Speed Cable Modem for XFINITY® Voice

Connect a wired PC directly to the back of the CM modem. Power it OFF and back ON for 1 minute. Afters it ready, check 192.168.100.1 on the wired PC with a web browser.

My Setup ISP SparkLight | Internet Cable 1000↓/50↑ CM2000 Modem | Wifi Router RAXE50 and R8500(v.158) Router Mode | Switches NG GS105/8 |

That is the process I used for activation.  Now it is activated and connected to the R7800, I would like to access the modem admin page from a computer connected to the R7800 without rearranging cables and etc.

Re: CM2050V – Admin Page Access

So you have access the modems web page with the direct wired PC connected to the modem? if so, and you can't with the R7800 connected, your problem would be the R7800 router.
