We are trying to upgrade our Comcast modem from a working Motorola SB6101 providing internet service to our Cisco E900 router to the Netgear CM400. The modem is unable to provide an IP address properly for the router, either IPv4 or IPv6. Anyone have any ideas?

Solved: After reading datlee's post at https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Routers/cm400-modem-sees-router-won-t-provide-internet... we relalized we didn't follow the directions like a layman should. Appears critical to reboot the modem after moving from directly connected computer to the router.
