CM500 locked to one upstream channel

Our CM500 only locks to one upstream channel, I've called our ISP and they said it wasn't something on their end. I also factory reset it, which seemed to work, however the following day it started only locking to one upstream channel and now factory reseting it does nothing. The firmware is as up to date as our ISP will allow. I've attached a snapshot of the event log.

Re: CM500 locked to one upstream channel

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.

Depending upon uplink speed you pay for and ISP support, you may only see 1 uplink channel locked in. Higher speeds should see more then one I believe.

Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Re: CM500 locked to one upstream channel

I forgot to mention we have had this modem for a little over a year and this issue is recent so I don't know if all your solutions are applicable. But I will still try them.

Re: CM500 locked to one upstream channel

You have correct and uncorrectables. These should be zeros.

Something the ISP should help you look into. Signal on the line. Cable and check connectors as well.

Re: CM500 locked to one upstream channel

Some errors aren't a bit deal. You don't have a ton but your upstream levels are very high.

this indicates something is reducing the upstream signal and causing issues.

Do you have splitters or signal attenuators in your line? If so, remove them.

check your line for damages, kinked lines, or splitters/attenuators and remove them.

If you can, move the modem to right where the coax comes into the home and attach it there.

If you still have issues, post the modem event logs and the cable connections back on here.
