CM600 modem
I’m interested in buying a CM 600 modem. I’ve read an online guide that says I need to connect it to a computer during the initial setup process. However, I only own a Mac computer without an Ethernet port. Can I connect this CM600 to my existing system and still contact my ISP without this computer step? Once there’s a connection, I could then log into the modem’s IP address and finish any additional setup steps such as changing the password, etc. I tried to get an answer from the Netgear help but the girl had no clue what I meant. Any thoughts?

Re: CM600 modem
There is USB to Ethernet adapters that you can connect to Macs with out LAN ports.
You can try connecting a router to the modem however you'll need to contact your ISP to have them help you get the modem associated with there system. Having the router connected between the modem and your Mac may not work.
