CVG824G and MAC filtering
Hi, I have a CVG824G wireless modem supplied by Optus. The MAC filtering option is not available under the advanced tab, even when logged in as a 'superuser'. Optus tell me they can't do anything, it is a Netgear issue. Netgear claim that the option is not supported by this modem and told me to buy a new modem. However it is possible as I can see the option in the CVG824G product manual! I assume the option has been disabled by Optus.
Any idea how to sort this out?
Thanks

Re: CVG824G and MAC filtering
Hello triccky100
If its not possible on your modem then the firmware has removed the option at some point and you can not change the firmware as it is pushed out by the ISP.
