Can I disable the voice capability of my modem?
Hi, I have used a CM500V for a couple of years with Comcast, but my new ISP prohibits voice-enabled modems on their network. Is there a way to disable the voice capability to make the modem act like a CM500 rather than CM500V? TIA.

Re: Can I disable the voice capability of my modem?
I believe it only gets enabled if the ISP enables that service on the service line. If its not enabled from them. then the modem should only work as a modem only.
