Country linked to IP address in NetGear Modem
How can I verify the which country is linked to my IP address coming from my NetGear Modem. Feedback from a receiving system is saying that my IP address is showing England instead of the USA. My cable provider did a renew and release but cannot guarentee that it is fixed because it is not their modem and said to contact NetGear. I do not have any admin information to log into my modem.
Please help! Thanks

Re: Country linked to IP address in NetGear Modem
Review the user manual for this for user log in information.
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/CMD31T.aspx
The IP address that the modem gets from the ISP will be from the ISP only. It's up to them to give the modem an IP address on the WAN side of the modem.
Try a factory reset on the modem with the modem disconnected from the COAX cable. Use a wired PC to connect to the modems web page.
This is a older modem as well..maybe time for something newer.
