Can't seem to find in the specifications or other places if DD-WRT exists or can be loaded into the C6300/AC1750 Modem Router. Anyone know if this is possible or ?? I am considering a PVPN and have come to the conclusion it might be better to have the router as the point rather than the various devices... Thoughts on this?

DD-WRT is generally available only for pure routers. It's exceedingly rare to find any 3rd party firmware for modem/routers.

Re: DD-WRT on the AC1750 Cable Modem/Router
@TheEther...thank you so much for your quick response...
Reason for my question...as noted, I am considering installing a personal VPN and in reviewing the number of devices normally available in even the paid versions of the PCMag EC rated offereings, it appears I might well be pushing the upper limiits of devices. Seeemed the way to go would have been using DD-WRT on the router side of the AC 1750.
NOW...gonna have to re-think the whole matter...
Again, thank you...
