Fast Ethernet slow 5Ghz WiFi
This post pertains to my C7100V.
My comcast service is 400 Mbs.
I get about 450Mbs on the LAN but only about 200 to 250 on the 5Ghz WiFi.
In bridge mode I've hooked up an Airport Extreme AC router and get about 350 Mbs on 5G. The C7100V is up to date on the firmware and the settings are 1300AC on 5G.
Even with only one source on my local 5G network and the speedtest is still only about 250Mbs.
Is this just how this modem works? Netgear support hasn't been able to help. The speed is ok for use I'm just wondering if I don't understand how the router sends signal to the 5G radio?

Re: Fast Ethernet slow 5Ghz WiFi
I answered my own question by doing more research on the net. I have a better understanding of bandwidth and what 1300AC acutally refers too.
