Keep losing speed
I have a AC2700 CAX30 wifi cable modem router from Costco and 1gb xfinity plan. When I factory reset I get 600-860mbps over wifi 5GHz. Within a couple of hours this drop to 115-225mbps and stays there, no matter what time of day or how many devices are using wifi.

Re: Keep losing speed
Are you using smart connect?
Smart connect allows devices to move between 2.4ghz and 5ghz as needed.
And 2.4ghz is much slower than 5ghz

Re: Keep losing speed
Wired in I’m getting 500-800. Odd thing is my laptop statues fast shortly after going back to wifi.
So hardwired in average about 700. IPhone 12 wireless 100-120

try making sure qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls are disabled. then reboot the device and try.
What site (app/browser/etc) are you using for speedtesting?
