MS Fax and Scan with C7100V

I would like to use Windows 10 Fax and Scan on pc. 

    >Regular land line is connected to C7100V modem router. 

    >Fax and Scan says modem not connected to pc. 

    >No phone jack on pc. 

    >Phone connected to C7100V jack. 

Is it possible to to set fax up? If so, how? Or are alternative methods available for limited use per year?

   Have you a fax machine?  What, exactly, are you trying to do?

   When you do what, exactly?

   A C7100V ia a cable-TV data modem, not a telephone/fax modem.  At
least one of us seems to be seriously confused.
