If you setup password recovery, you either hit cancel or get the password wrong enough times and it takes you to the recovery. Problem is that many people didn't setup recovery but it still goes through the steps. And then there is no right answer to the questions. If you didn't set it up or can't figure out the correct answers, your option to get back into the device is to factory reset it and start over. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered up. the lights should change when its held long enough.
