Netgear CG3100 + Alcatel Link Zone MW40V 4G Router Connection together
Hi I have Netgear CG3100 and i am wondering if i can connect a Alcatel Link Zone MW40V 4G Router via the usb outlet on the netgear, and then connect 2 coumputers via 2 ethernet cabels.
The Alcatel Link Zone MW40V 4G Router is portabel and has a phone card in it, and you can acess the internet via WIFI or via the usb outlet.
So my question is if i can change the settings in the netgear router so it can recive the internet from the usb outleet from the Alcatel Link Zone MW40V 4G Router and send out the internet from the ethernet outlets.
Im thankfull for all thoughts you may have..
May the force be with us all

I doubt it. Documentation on the CG3100 is sparse/poor, but see:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1926384
According to the manual attached there, the USB port is/was not
supported for anything. And I can't recall ever seeing any Netgear
router which allowed a USB network connection. (Printer or storage,
perhaps.)
What led you to believe that the USB port on the MW40V is good for
anything other than charging its battery?

Yes that what i thought to, I saw that to in the manual but i thought maybe there where a counfugiration you could make in the router.
If you connect it to the pc's usb port the pc then reconizing it as a ''ethernet'' and take the internet from the usb cabel and the internet gets a little better.
I can connect my cellphone to the pc's usb port and do the same thing. And on the cellphone you can choose if you want to distribue the internet through the usb as ''ethernet'' or via wifi.
Thanks anyway for the reply have a good day. @antinode
