Newly purchased Nighthhawk model/router C7000v2 not connected to ISP
Newly purchased a Nighthawk C7000v2 modem/router to replace the one given to me by my cable company(Spectrum/BH). I called technical support and they registered my MAC as being allowed to connect. After the change the technical support person (tried this with 2 different members on different calls) indicated that the setup looks good on their end. They can see the connection being established and then dropped. I also see a that the internet led flashes or does not stay stable.
When logging into the router i can see that the Internet Connection panel is reporting as Not Connected. There is also no WAN/ISP IP address assigned. Not really sure how to proceeed to resolve. Should I open a NETGear support case? If so, what diagnostic information would be helpful to facilitiate a resolution.

You might do better to post your question in the right bit of this forum:
Cable Modems & Routers - NETGEAR Communities
It could get lost here in Nighthawk WiFi Routers.
