Nighthawk X4s (c7800) Unable to use my ethernet connection
I've owned this nighthawk for about 6 months without any issues. I had several power outages and now I cannot connect my via ethernet. WiFi works great just cant use Lan. I've even reset everything and power cycled multiple times. I was told from Netgear that it was a configuation issue. Unfortunately they wanted to charge me to fix it. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Nighthawk X4s (c7800) Unable to use my ethernet connection
Disconnect the modem from the ISP coax line. Factory reset the modem by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
Connect up a wired PC or laptop to the back of the modem.
Check the connection with in the OS networking status to see if the PC or laptop gets a 192.168.0.something or 192.168.1.someting IP address. You should see LED status on the top of the modem for the LAN port your connected too...
Swap LAN cables to be sure. CAT6 is recommended.
Try using different PC or laptop with ethernet ports to test with.
