Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
Hi! I have a c7000 that has never worked as advertised. It can't handle even a couple of WiFi connections without VOIP cutting out so I've been forced to use my old R7000 for WiFi since I bought the c7000 last summer. Comcast and Netgear say it isn't their problem. Meanwhile I have an expensive paperweight. Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you able to provide the logs and power levels of the modem?

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
I'm happy to, but not sure how. This chat interface won't allow me to attach text files. I can paste the logs in this window or make an image of them I guess. Which logs would you like? Looks like there are Logs, Event Log, EMTA Event Log, and various information screens.
Thanks!

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
It won't let me attached anything but PDFs, so I'll just paste into this window below. Are these the logs in question? Thanks!

The levels all look good nothing really standing out in the logs is there maybe any ports that need opened for the VOIP?

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
What is the FW running on the device?
Choppy voice/voice cut out was fixed in 2.01.33 FW version.

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
Hi Darren,
VOIP is working fine as long as the wireless antennas are disabled, so it seems to me that whatever ports need to be open already are. ?? Do you agree?

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
Hello. Current firmware is 2.01.30. I am told that only Comcast can upgrade the firmware (which, IMHO seems outrageous as it is my hardware, not theirs) and there appears to be no provision in the rather rudimentary interface for the consumer to do this. Is there a way around this?
Thanks!

Re: Nighthawk c7000 Voice Cuts Out
please reboot your device. Comcast has already pushed the FW to lot of customers.
If you still dont see it within 30 mins of reboot, Please provide your power table and EVENT LOG output here.
