Nighthawk x4 c7500 Adding phoneline

Can I add a phone jack and plug in a phone to be used with my Xfinity service?  I recently bought this cable-router and can not return it.

The C7500 doesn't have a phone service setup. so you wouldn't be able to add a line to it for connection with xfinity. 

You could always get something like Ooma and connect to it for phone service but the phone service wouldn't be from xfinity
