Only a power light and can not be reset

My CAX80 has the same problem. Only a power light and can not be reset. This is an expensive modem combo. Thought that Netgear was a top of the line company. Hopefully they have a plan to take care of their customers reporting this same issue.

What is Netgear planning
to make this right for customers with this issue. In or out of warranty?
