Quality of Service settings do not save

Model: WNDR4500v2

Fireware: 1.0.0.72_1.0.45

OS: Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363.592

Steps to repeat:

1. Log in to router.

2. Navigate to QoS setup via Advanced -> Setup -> QoS setup

3. Set uplink value at 9 Mbps

4. Check mark the box "Enable Upstream QoS"

5. Hit "Apply"

6. After the loading bar is finished, check box is

unchecked and uplink value is blank

Note: I already have a QoS rule saved.

This rule can be reached by clicking QoS rule.

It does not reset unlike the checkbox.

Note: Router and modem have been reset.

Note: Portforwarding and Dyanamic DNS are enabled and being actively used.

Note: Computer is a wired connection

Any ideas or help would be appreciated!

Re: Quality of Service settings do not save

I may have the answer for you.

1. Go to the QoS settings

2. Edit the Device you want to change

3. ***Remove any spaces in the Device Name and Model Name

4. Hit Apply

My device and model name came up as "Playstation 4" by default with a space in the name. Changing them to "PS4" fixed my problem.

Hope that helps.
