Router giving incorrect IP address
My router started giving out 192.168.100.x addresses. I've seen other posts and the consensus is usually another device in the house. I have no other devices that would be issuing an IP address. There were no firmware updates made that I'm aware of.
It's actually been going on for a while now where I would notice some of my devices couldnt connect, my phone for example. The easy fix when you're busy with a 2 year old is to turn off wifi and use the cell signal.
Yesterday I had this issue and more time, with 3 devices. A phone, a tablet and a new Fire HD tablet. Then also noticed my Chromecast wouldn't connect.
If I assigned a static IP to any of these devices using my subnet (192.168.0.x) they would work fine.
So my question is, why is this router assigning these incorrect IP addresses? I want to blame my phone but it's clearly all devices now. Weird....
Thanks in advance!

Re: Router giving incorrect IP address
who is your ISP? Is it Spectrum/timeWarner/Charter/BrightHouse ?
I think your device is in BRIDGE mode and you need to turn it back to NAT/Gateway mode.
