Slow Wireless / Fast Wired
For my AC1600 (model C6250) speed test with ethernet cable is 120Mbps down, but with 2.4Ghz wireless from 5 feet away it is only 20Mbps. Any suggestions?

Hello cybernigel
Have you tried to adjust the wireless channel on the 2.4ghz?

Re: Slow Wireless / Fast Wired
Hi David,
I appreciate the reply. What specific adjustments to the 2.4Ghz channel are you suggesting?
Thank you

Re: Slow Wireless / Fast Wired
This Kb may help you with this just apply the same method it outlines to the 2.4ghz network.

Re: Slow Wireless / Fast Wired
Hi Darren,
I appreciate the reply and helpful KB article. I will try using a channel analyzer, but I did some brute force troubleshooting last night and tried each of the available 11 channels and ran speedtest.net against them. On the best channel I was still only getting ~30Mbps down while with a wired connection I'm well over 100Mbps down. I performed these tests about 5 feet away from the router and the R6250 does not have any adjustable attennas. Any other suggestions?
Thanks a lot
