Using C6250 as a wireless repeater

I have a cox as ISP and have cox modem (Not trying to change that), but there is a room in my house where wifi signal is not that strong. I am not able to change the router position or connect the existing router with ethernet to the Netgerat c6250.

Is there a way I can use C6250 wirelessly as a repeater?

I have tried to look for enabling the wireless function in the Netgear genie without any luck (Seems like that option is just not available) -  I have also tried looking at the user manual for the router and the geanie without much help. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Using C6250 as a wireless repeater

The C series modem doesn't support wireless repeating. Only Gateway router mode or modem only mode.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Cable Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Cable modems and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.
