Wifi VIA LAN Slow
NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi Cable Modem Router
with 2 AC 1200 USB 3.0 adapters. Claims EXTREMELY FAST WIFI—Up to 1.9 Gpbs combined WiFi speed for extreme gaming and streaming, however when I transfer via wifi a large file, I am getting about 13-14mbits. LAN is a Gpb and with it I get around 104.
Now I am pretty close, and signal strength is 100% and Link quality is between 95-100%
867 Mbps
Now considering the AC USB 3.0 adapter are ac 1200 I don't expect to get that high, but I should be able to reach close to a mbit of 100-104 like my LAN, or at least I thought,
The 5Ghz I have set for 1.3Gbps.
I have a BrosTrend 1200Mbps USB WiFi Network Adapter; Dual Band AC 5GHz WIFI Speed 867Mbps, 2.4GHz 300Mbps
Now I checked both desktops and were both at 867, so to get this right, what speed is 867Mbps? What should that be?
I tested another transfer PC to PC and was getting 13-15, said it was going to take about 15mins to transfer a 10gig file.
The router is in another room, away from other electronics, cordless phones etc etc which is why I put it there.
Any ideas?

You know, it would be nice if someone from Netgear would reply?

Re: Wifi VIA LAN Slow
Does tech support actually go on these forums? Just wondering... 2 days and no reply from a single person. Wow really?

Re: Wifi VIA LAN Slow
Hello ZeroC00l
Are both pcs connected to the extender via wire or wireless? Are they on the 2.4ghz network or the 5ghz network?
