Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

1. what are you testing those speeds on? (device)

2. are you testing wired? wireless?

3. what website/app are you testing on?

4. do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs?

5. since the speed increase, have you tried a factory reset and reinstall of the c7000?

2. are you testing wired? wireless? both wireless and wired directly to c7000

3. what website/app are you testing on? speedtest xfinity, google speed test

4. do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs?

5. since the speed increase, have you tried a factory reset and reinstall of the c7000? the device was already factory reset out of box

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

Wireless isn't going to hit than those speeds on that device.

wired should depending on if you're device is capable of it.

make sure access control, qos, traffic monitoring, and parental controls are disabled and reboot the device

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

So you're not using the wifi/wired?

You"re going C7000--->???? to what?

Cascading routers can lead to issues.

What router are you connecting to it?

If you disable router mode (puts it in modem only mode) what speeds do you get hardwired?

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

i am using the wired part. I turned off wifi on the c7000

I need to use the DHCP server on the c7000 to hand our IP addresses.

from the c7000, i have wire to another switch for LAN PC/printers

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

Its usually why we recommend testing with more than 1 device.

It could be your laptop

Re: c7000v2 not getting full speed

Don't just look at your modem/router for speed issues even if you upgrade.  You need to check the your network module's or network chip set on your motherboard for its speed limitation.  The bottle neck will reside with your network card/chip capabilitites.  If you can only go 100 Mbps then that's what you'll get.  If you absolutely know what your network card/module is capable of and your not getting the ISP provided speed along with your Router/Modem or combined Modem/Router's device, then look for the Router/Modem's speed limitation in it's documentation and also on the original box it came in for speed values you should be able to attain.
