cant update firmware for NightHawk c7000v2
Im trying to use the NightHawk app but its saying my firmwware is outdated. I called my ISP and they said its up to date on their end. I've also already looked through netgears website for a possible firmware update but it matches the one my ISP provided for me. Is there something im missing?

Re: cant update firmware for NightHawk c7000v2
Users can't update C series modems. Only done thru ISP services on there side so if the ISP says it's up to date, then ignore the app.

How do I go about using the app if its saying I need an update? Or just not use the app?

Can you skip the message at all?
Remove and re-install the app?

You might post about this here:

And make contact with NG support. Seems like the app wants FW updated however, again, the modem can't be updated by users.
