model C6900 nighthawk AC 1900 problem connecting to Samsung Smartcam

Our Samsung Smartcam snh-v6414bn will not connect with Netgear C6900.

The reason it informs us is that 802.11b provides optimal performance. If this is your wifi network upgrade to an 802.11n/ac router.

Can anyone give me instructions on how to do this? I thought Nighthawk AC 1900 model C6900 is compatible to 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.

From past conversations here, these things usually boil down to how you set up the smart camera.

The flavour of your wifi is unlikely to be the problem.

You might get better answers if you post in the right section of this forum, the one for cable modems rather than Nighthawk WiFi Routers:
