AC800S Band Locking / Frequency Selection
How to set band locking / frequency selection in netgear optus ac800s , i recently purchased purchased ac800s and it automatically connects to band1 ( congested slower speedtest in my area but have a strong signal / full bar) , i want to choose band 3 or band 40 even if it has a 3-4 bar signal - the speedtest is faster 10x than the band 1 here in my area (based on my huawei b315-936 with band selection), its just a waste of my money that i coudnt use the full capability of the modem aircard if i coudnt choose the band that i want.
Anyone know the AT command password for this modem or how to crack the password , im badly need it to change the band , i spent a hefty bucks by buying this expensive cat9 modem and its just a display item stuck in my drawer , im using my huawei b316-936 with band lock as of now.
If someone can help me or give me instruction how to do or via remote team viewer / anydesk , im willing to pay via paypal, thank you.

Re: AC800S Band Locking / Frequency Selection
Hi andrespilak,
Thank you for posting in the community. There is not an option to select a band in settings for the AC800s.
If you refer to the link below, EarnestTheGreat will explain why it is better to leave the band selection as auto and why we are not able to provide the password.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. :]
