AirCard 800S hotspot usb slot - is it usb 3.0 slot?
Hello
I’m wondering what slot is it on the bottom of the modem? Is it a usb. 3.0 slot? And is there an adaptor to plug in an ethernet cable into it?
Essentially I want to know if I can connect a powerline adapter to the hotspot to expand the network range.
Please let me know if my question is unclear.
Thank you!

Re: AirCard 800S hotspot usb slot - is it usb 3.0 slot?
Yes it is usb 3.0.
If you connect to a linux machine and run dmesg you'll see the Superspeed messages and failure to enable U1/U2 power management (which are usb 3.0 only features).
It is reported that the latest firmware supports the DC112A cradle which provides a bridge to ethernet and wifi for you.
I suspect that your question is compatibility with usb-ethernet adaptors. I don't have any information on that.
