Enabling auto-connect on AC340U (ATT Beam) dongle
I work for a company who provides linux-based servers to airlines. We introduced support for AC340U, which must be put into
auto-connet mode in order to work with linux. (it's an embedded-limited GUI product, so no connection manager app is present).
We found an executable online which allows this mode to be set on the device, however, we would like to provide our own utility to our customer
that we can support and maintain.
How is this achieved on the AC340U? I have gone through the AT command set, but there is no single command which will set/unset thismode.
Other devices have customized AT comands which will allow this. I see nothing like this is the AT command reference for this device, so it's
either not possible through AT commands alone (SIM programming? or by setting an S register?)
The executable is provided on a site called Proxicast (two executables one to enable auto-connect and one to disable it).
ANy help or references would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Enabling auto-connect on AC340U (ATT Beam) dongle
Clarification --
I neglected to mention this would be a Windows executable. The end-user process is that the executable is run on a
Windows machine with the 340U inserted and then the 'auto-connect' mode would be persistent on the dongle.
