Error Type #2 Reason #211
My Nighthawk MR6550 keeps dropping offline with the screen showing "Error Type #2 Reason #211". Netgear tech support has not been able to tell me what this means. What does it mean? Can I fix this or is it something netgear has to fix? Many thanks in advance.

Re: Error Type #2 Reason #211
I never solved it, sorry. I bought one MR6550, had that problem, tech support never told me what the error meant or solved the problem, returned the device, second device had the same problem, returned it for a full refund. I also had a Verizon nano SIM, which I swapped out for another Verizon nano SIM to no avail. Was also using a Netgear MIMO antenna and confirmed the firmware was up to date. Wasted hours of my time in the process. Not sure what Netgear's problem is but both MR6550s were duds, and tech support asked a lot of questions but gave me no answers. Sorry I couldn't help you. The MR6550 is a great concept but a worthless device, and no honesty from tech support.

Re: Error Type #2 Reason #211
This device was functioning as expected with firmware 12.01.47. I just upgrade to 12.01.54 it no longer will connect. From reading the forums, it appears as though people think it's a Verizon issue. I believe it's a Netgear issue. I should probably return the device since I doubt Netgear will have this resolved anytime soon.

Re: Error Type #2 Reason #211
The service is now working. I have a static IP and the APN was set incorrectly after the firmware update. Now that the correct APN has been entered, all it good.

Re: Error Type #2 Reason #211
I am having so much trouble with mine! Just like yours it was fine before the firmware update and now with the 12.01.54 it is giving me the error. How do I fix the APN?
