How To Use a VERIZON Nano Sim with the NETGEAR MR5200 Mobile Router

If you've previously activated the MR5200 (M5) with AT&T or T-Mobile and want to switch to Verizon here is what you’ll need to get started

• Obtain a pre-activated 5G capable Nano sim (this can be done with a 5G capable cell phone just for activation purposes)
• Charge your Mobile Hotspot

Steps to setting up your Mobile Hotspot

1. Insert the Nano sim into the mobile hotspot
2. Reinsert the battery and reconnect the backing
3. Power on the mobile hotspot.  (Once booted up you should see the carrier’s name (Verizon 5G) in the upper left corner along with a yellow triangle with an exclamation in the center.)
4. Observe the LCD touch screen and locate “Swipe Up” (above the power button) to access the menu
5. You should see a warning Mobile Broadband Disconnected
6. Click OK to start the APN Setup
7. You should see a list of available APNs to choose from
8. Tap vzwinternet from the list
9. Click OK to save the changes
10. Click the Home icon next to the screen to complete the APN setup process
