LM1200: Throughput 2
Good morning.
I just bought a LM1200, it works as expected for now.
However, I have a degradation of the wired connection in download speed and ping. Without the device (router directly connected to the modem) the router reaches 950Mbps. When the LM1200 is between the router and the modem (failover mode, bridge mode), the router reaches 730Mbps and the ping is +1ms more or less.
I did expect to have a little degradation but not 200Mbps! I found the following discussion:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cell-Service-Mobile-Hotspot/LM1200-Throughput/td-p/2177680
Here you can read that the throughput should be more or less 910Mbps. Is my device a little bit under performing? Should I consider to change it? Is there a configuration that can help ti reach the former speed?
The firmware is updated, all ethernet cables are cat5e 50cm length, modem and router are both Gigabit ethernet.
Thanks.

Re: LM1200: Throughput 2
From what I understand, there is not Ethernet hardware switch, much more the LM1200 (and similar devices with a dual LAN and WAN port) are implemented on a software bridge. @JohnPeng or @mcuadrado have certainly some more insight.
"just updated" isn't the greatest information where a version number would be much more informative. But i understand such an impact for what is supposed to driving a typical 1 Gb Internet connection isn't acceptable.

This reads like the LM1200 LTE Upgrade Package (Retail-Australia, Europe and US) version from February 2022, which says:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the TP throttling issue with 2-port failover support
- Fixes failover stability issue.
Tempted to state the throttling issue with the TP throttling issue with 2-port failover isn't fully fixed. Or I don't understand the message in these Release Notes. Sorry @JohnPeng and @mcuadrado : More work for RD!

Re: LM1200: Throughput 2
I have a Netgear Nighthawk router connected to the Netgear LM100 which is connected to the ISP provided modem.
I enter in the Nighthawk App and I just perform the speed test. That's how I get the results mentioned in the first message. I tried these tests several times, removing and introducing the LM1200: the difference and the results are clear.
However, I also have performed normal speed test from other client devices using https://www.speedtest.net. The download speed it's slowed down by 200Mbps.
I checked the firmware version mentioned in the @schumaku answer (Netgear support website), it's definitely the last one.
Anyhow, I also tried to download and install the last firmware version (Europe) but an error comes up (probably that's because I am trying to install the same version of the already present firmware). In any case, my LM1200 has the last available firmware installed.

The code called by the App running on the Nighthawk router is an industry standard Speedtest.net client, well known to Netgear. Not a critical test, no massive small UDP packets known to limit an weak Ethernet bridge code involved.

It seems like you've mentioned "LM1200: Throughput 2," but without more context, it's unclear what specific information you're looking for. "LM1200" could potentially refer to a model number, a product, or a specific technology, but without additional details, I can't provide a precise answer.
If you could provide more context or information about what you're referring to, I'd be happy to assist you further. Are you asking about the throughput capacity or performance of a certain device or technology with the model number LM1200? Please provide more details so I can give you a more accurate response................

Yet another AI smarta** user and no clue about what is going on here, more likely simply Spam, and the idiot missed to add a his Spam URL under the many dots. Good part is: It's still easy to recognized by human readers.
