MR6450 5G NR SA
I have a MR6450-100EUS, and it wont connect to 5G SA n40 even though the datasheet states that this is possible? Running FW: NTGX65_12.01.54.00 Any help to resolve this issue? JohnPeng ? 🙂 B...
The cell tower determines what bands your device connect to, at what bandwidth. Your device only connects to the tower when the tower allows it.
yes I am quite aware of this, but I have a 5G SA n40 network that i need to use, so need the FW to get 5G SA option back!
The US versions of the M6/M6 Pro had the 5G SA option removed. I see you are complaining specifically about bringing that option back to your EU MR6450. You were not clear about that in your initial post. There is no way to enable it in the current firmware. Only a FW update will that option enabled will bring the 5G SA function back. I guess that should be something you would contact Netgear directly, if you have not done so already.
