Manually upgrading firmware on my Netgear MiFi Cellular Router
As per the latest Firmware Update Release Notes, I am following the steps to MANUALLY apply the latest firnware update (since the integrated automated update just ran, and appeared to complete successfully, but yet the router still appears to be running the older build), I downloaded the firmware ZIP file as instructed, but hit a snag:
The instructions say to go to the Firmware settings and browse to the update file, and upload it.
Seen here: https://www.screencast.com/t/zbCcb3af
The problem? Here's what I see: https://www.screencast.com/t/bpTyYF7qaxRJ
You'll notice that my Administrative console has no area beneath the Firmware autoupdater to upload the firmware manually.
SO NOW WHAT>?>?

Re: Manually upgrading firmware on my Netgear MiFi Cellular Router
Hi @firefish
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Is this from AT&T? May we please know the device SKU (e.g. MR1100-100NAS)? This can be checked on the box of the product or on the barcode label.
The MR1100 SKU's have specific firmwares which are optimized for their respective ISP's. You cannot upgrade an AT&T MR1100 with different SKU MR1100 firmware for example. The firmware package will check to ensure the correct SKU is being used prior to running the upgrade.
The device itself already detected that you have the latest firmware.
Regards,
Blanca
