Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

Kinldy take out the SIM card, reset the device, re-insert the SIM card and let it power all the way on then check for updates.

The router hangs on the Netgear logo and does not open at all. I need its software. I searched for it and did not find it

I have the same problem, the router has been hanging for a few days, but only with my Simyo card from Orange Spain. the Mr 2100 works with a card from another provider. I bought a new device and it's the same with it. maybe there was an update?

Please check whether the device can boot up with SIM card. Or do a factory reset and see whether the issule will go away.

How are you going to update it if it can't be boot up? Your device may be on the latest already.

When you press the REST and ON button, the word "DOWNLOAD" and "Update" appears on the screen

MR2100's upgrade file is different from other devices. You can nly use the file when the device can be booted up. The tool will not work when the device in emergency download mode.
