A new firmware update available in web interface 12.06.08.

Quick test looks goods, maybe it will fix reboot issues.

No changlog available so far it seems

I did a quick test with original power supply and no more reboot 🙂 (without battery)

UST Tether continue to works.

I did have a wifi issue for 5G sometimes, i did a factory reset just to be sure it's not related to firmware update partially updated.

I'm experiencing some issues with native IPv4 and IPv6 dual stack.

Only either IPv4 works or only IPv6 works.

When only IPv4 works I can't even see any IPv6 address under Settings -> Status -> Network.

When only IPv6 works I can see an IPv4 address.

I've not gotten both working at all with this update and I've reset the device multiple times as well as restarted it and using settings backups.

My phone using the same LTE carrier has no issues doing both IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time.

To solve the IPv4/IPv6 issue I just waited a while and then did another reset. Everything solved and IPv4 and IPv6 works flawlessly again.

Also, I have done another firmware update and in final, it was the same version number.
And this time, it gives me back ethernet standby option. 🙂

Is your App still Working? For me the mobile app isn’t working so I can’t change my data limits. Is that also possible via the web interface? I liked using the app but it tells me now it’s not possible to use this router with the app...

Hi, since downloading this firmware, I’ve had continuous internet dropping every few minutes. It only comes back on after rebooting. Weird thing though, it will stay on all day so f you’re streaming something. As soon as there’s not constant flow of data, 3 -5 minutes it’s out and have to reboot. Anyone here have any tips?

Hi, it looks like ethernet standby issue nut set to disable. This option is back on the latest firmware on my side. Twice update from same number build. Maybe look at this option 👍

I have checked this settings to ensure it was on “never”. It did not change anything. I do feel it is a bug in the standby settings. I have to stream a radio station in the background to keep the internet going.

I've looked at the setting and I have set it to "ETHERNET STANDBY" to "Disabled"

But like I have a device connected to internet 24/24 even if not much data over this device, it can act like keepalive thingy.

I remember doing a fresh reset setting after the upgrade too to clean in case of leftover strange settings.

So maybe this is a bug but can be triggered here at least.

I've had the same issue, internet dropping all the time, often just 5 minutes after restarting the router.

But, I've not had the issue for over 1 week now - I've transfered over 100 GB without issues. I plugged it into a Quick Charge charger and did a factory reset. However, my ISP was having some trouble with the data at the same time so I'm not sure if it was the ISP or the Nighthawk.

Mine has now been returned (RMA) because of the constant internet drops after this update.

While looking at how to return it the internet connection dropped 3 times!

I'll wait for a replacement unit since there are no other mobile routers near as powerful as this one - I don't want to downgrade to Cat 4/6/9.

I don't know why, but for some reason, seeing that the two other posts had something to do with charging, I removed the battery and powered directly from the charging cable.  I haven't had a drop since.  I also rechecked that the wifi standby was disabled.  I'm not sure which one did it but I'm positive that I've had the wifi standby disabled prior.  But after so many reboots and factory resets it may have slipped by.  Either way  check these two, no more problems.

I have removed the battery too. MR1 is connected to quick charger and also on backup ups.

I’m thinking of removing battery plug into USB power bank & plug power bank into outlet.
