Nighthawk M2 (MR2100) connected devices incorrect, no static IP reservation
I use my MR2100 as a stationary home modem, connected to a 16 port gigabit PoE switch via LAN port.
First observation to report is that LAN port works only when battery is not installed. So try this, if you are struggling.
Then, I am unable to reserve some IPs to specific devices, like multiple APs, server, etc. There is simply no such option in router settings. See image below.
Whats worse, "device list" works very poorly: most devices are not shown by their name, many devices are simply missing. Not only I can't asign an IP to my WiFi AP so I could manage it, on top of that I don't know the IP that was assigned to it.
I am forced to do an IP forward to another router, and lose the WiFi. This needs some extra equipment, worth $150+. Bit silly, when it's only a thing of tiny software fix.
Isthere a fix for this, and how do I report this as a bug to dev team?
I'm on latest EU firmware, which seems to be NTGX24_10.17.08.00.
And why can't I select any text, like version number, on the management website???
