Nighthawk M6 - How to configure for 4G only?
I just got the M6 6500 and am using it with an AT&T sim card. It works great in some places, but at home we have a very poor 5G signal. When it displays a 4G connection the up/down speeds and stability are several times better than when connected to 5G, so I want to block it from connecting to 5G. I can't find any way to set the router to "4G Only" like I can do using an Android phone. I am on the verge of returning the M6 and ordering a used MR1100 just to stop connecting to a 5G signal. Anyone know if it's possible to set the M6 to 4G only?
