Nighthawk MR2100 - Mobile Broadband Disconnected Message
Hi Guys
I have a Netgear Nighthawk MR2100 and a couple of weeks ago it stopped connecting to the internet. It has been working perfectly for a couple of years but now it is constantly ‘searching’ and cannot find a network. It has a continuous error “Mobile Broadband Disconnected - Your data connection is disconnected” and when I click on this it takes me to an “APN Setup Required” screen where I select my network provider. Despite doing this the Nighthawk is always showing ‘searching’ and fails to connect. Any ideas? Might it be the APN settings? I’ve done a couple of factory resets. I’ve contacted my SIM card provider and they say the SIM is ok. I’ve tried the SIM in my iPhone and it downloads data perfectly, so all i can think it’s a setting on my Nighthawk. Thanks, David

Re: Nighthawk MR2100 - Mobile Broadband Disconnected Message
Hi DIYDave66,
Please follow the steps below to check APN profile settings:
1. From a computer that is connected to your network, launch a web browser.
2. Enter http://m.home or http://192.168.1.1.
3. Enter the administrator login password.
4. Select SETTINGS > Advanced Settings > Cellular.
5. Edit / Add APN Settings.
You may also use this link Mobile Hotspot APN Lookup.
May we please know the device SKU (e.g. MR2100-100EUS)? This can be checked on the box of the product or on the barcode label
Regards,
Blanca
