Orbi NBK752: Unable to use LAN/WAN port as LAN in mobile only mode
Sorry for this repeat of a nearly identical topic which was closed without being resolved.
I have set up the NBR750 of my NBK752 for mobile only connection. Everything works, except the LAN/WAN port refuses to behave as a LAN port. I double checked that the "Only LTE" mode is selected, however connecting devices to the LAN/WAN port results in no wired connection, while connecting them (using the same cable) to either of the other two ports works perfectly.
I would really like to use all three ports, without needing an additional switch.
To try to resolve the problem I manually updated the firmware from V4.6.5.11_1.5.50 to V4.6.5.11_1.5.66 as the online update didn't find the newer version. Why?
How can I troubleshoot this?
My main PCs run Linux Kubuntu 24.04 but I have also tried other devices.

Re: Orbi NBK752: Unable to use LAN/WAN port as LAN in mobile only mode
From reading the manual, if its setup to always use the mobile network, it doesn't use that port. The manual actually reads: Even if you connect the router to a wired modem, the router does not use
the wired Internet connection. This is the default selection
Makes me wonder if it disables that port in mobile only mode. A cheap gigabit switch would give you more ports.

Re: Orbi NBK752: Unable to use LAN/WAN port as LAN in mobile only mode
Agreed, page 26 of the User Manual appears a bit ambiguous (to me).

What would be the purpose of labeling the yellow port "LAN/WAN" if it can be used only as a WAN port?
How is the system currently configured? (Failover or Always use LTE?)

Re: Orbi NBK752: Unable to use LAN/WAN port as LAN in mobile only mode
Thank you for your replies. Unfortunately one seems to have disappeared while I was writing this reply.
I agree that the port should not be marked LAN/WAN if it cannot be used as a LAN port.
Unfortunately I only have the Netgear Orbi App in French but if you select LTE uniquement in Paramètres/Paramètres du réseau mobile/Type Internet it says :
Le port "WAN/LAN" est configuré en tant que port LAN uniquement
Roughly translated this means :
If you select Only LTE in Parameters/Mobile network parameters/Internet type it says :
The WAN/LAN port is configured as LAN only
So this seems to me to be a bug.
Is there a way of reporting bugs to Netgear and what are the chances of getting it fixed?
