Package Not Delivered Order 0119461
I ordered a Netgear Nighthawk Mobile Router on July 28th, 2020 it shipped FedEx on July 30th, 2020 and was allegedly delivered on August 3rd, 2020 at 12:01 PM. I was home at the time waiting and received an email that it was delivered and immediately opened my door and the package was not there. I live in a gated community with locked access to the hallway to my apartment. I called FedEx and they put a trace on the package and was unable to find it. They interviewed the driver and he stated he delivered the package and to call the vendor to place a claim. I called Netgear and they said they would disable the device so it could never be used on a cellular network and to contact my credit card company and do a chargeback. The credit card company gave me a temporary credit while they waited for a response from Netgear. On September 4th, 2020, my credit card company informed me Netgear refused the chargeback stating that it was delivered and recharged my account 339.87. I was sent a form from my credit card company to sign that I didn't receive the router which I signed and sent back.
The other problem is if I ever receive the router I will never be able to use it as it has been permanently disabled. So I paid 339.87 for a router that I didn't receive and should it ever show up I can never use it.
Netgear doesn't offer insurance or signature required delivery so be careful
