Reccomendations Sought for Cellular Modem (standalone or bridge mode available)
I am planning on adding failover and load balancing to my networking setup. I am using a Nighthawk RS700 as the router and a TPLink 707 as a bridge solely for its failover and load balancing features...
the 150mbps is the throughput of what? LTE modem (WWAN) or LAN? for t-mobile I can recommend the MR6550 or MR6150. You can do IP Passthrough which is the closest you can get to a bridge mode on these devices. LAN speeds on these devices can go up to 2.5gbps.
RCPAX: I guess I was speaking very generally. The material on the LM1200 states it supports "internet speeds up to 150Mbps". I am guessing that limitation derives from it being 4G instead of 5G.
- sounds like you’re looking for better speeds. of course for mobile internet that would be very dependent on location. but the MR6150 woild be the cheaper option of the 2 and it is 5G capable. plenty of bandwidth when used with tmobile.
