Sim not recognized
I just got my Nighthawk mr1100, I’m trying to use a Verizon sim from another hot spot but it says sim not installed. I re-installed it couple times turned the machine on and off even tried to reset but it doesn’t help.

Please check whether the PINs of SIM connector are not deformed. You can carefully raise them if they got flattened during to previous uses.

What is the exact product SKU designation, from the box or from the product label under the battery?

SKU name can be found on the product label under the battery, suhc as MR1100-1xxxx or a 4-digit number for AT&T M1.
