Slow Internet Connection M5 MR5200 compared to iPhone
Hi,
I got a Nighthawk M5 (MR5200) and an iPhone. Both have a SIM Card from the same provider (Digicel) with the exact same subscription and having them next to each other, I get 8MB/s over the Wifi-Hotspot from my iPhone, but only 2MB/s over the M5!?
Any ideas what could make such a difference? In general I get always less throughput over the M5 compared to the personal hotspot on iPhone.
What could i check / tweak to improve my data throughput over M5?
I'm currently surfing over Digicel in Antigua, West Indies.
thanks for any input!
Erich

Please confirm you are using MR5200-100NAS device. Looks Digicel just support LTE bands for now?
If you can provide the bands supported by Digicell, that will be helpful.
Thanks

Re: Slow Internet Connection M5 MR5200 compared to iPhone
Hi,
My mobile router says:
Model: MR5200
Firmware: NTGX55_12.04.17.00
Web App Version: MR5200-100EUS_04.02.196.00
Modem Version: MPSS.HI.2.0.c3.5-00010-SDX55_CPEALL-1.403198.3
Status says:
Network status: HSDPA
Band: WCDMA 850
Below is what I found regarding Digicel in Antigua and the Attachment shows what my iPhone says it's using.
Thanks for any help
